DIN kit installation for UHF radio

How do I remove relevant parts of the dash in a December 1995 FZJ80 to fit a DIN kit for a Uniden UH089?

What frequencies are those UHFs? Very interesting, we don't really (and unfortunately) have usable UHF Citizens' bands here in the States. We have access to only 16 channels @UHF freq's, but cost us and we are required to have a license (GMRS) :-(

We do have crappy 500 milliwatt UHF radios that don't need a license, but your limited to 1/2 watt and they have to be HT (hand-helds) with non-removable antennae. Ugh.
