ok, so my console/switch lights haven't been working for the past 2 weeks, as well as the NAV not switching from day (white) to night (black). thought maybe a fuse, but checked those. all good. pulled the black panel off below the instrument cluster where the dimmer wheel is housed. problem solved, sortof. it's not plugged in, BUT, i don't see the plug to put into it anywhere behind there, so it must have fallen back into the dash (i believe that it wasn't put back all the way into the dimmer when i installed the slee override and it slowly worked its way out over a few mos).
SO, anyone know where that cable/harness leads to FROM the dimmer going away? thinking i can follow that path to find it w/o pulling the entire dash off.
if this is just a stupid question and i just need to spend today pulling the whole dash apart looking for it, just let me know so i can get started.
