after my governing diaphram in the injector pump went and was repaired, i have the distinct feeling my H diesel is too lean (i figure this cause i have less power, and it never smokes... and i mean never, not fully loaded at full throttle up a hill, not on cold morning start up)

how do i tip more fuel into the equation??? i only know carbies and stuff

you dont need to touch the carby or anything. When you replaced the diaphram, on the part you removed to do it (the back cover of the fuel injection pump) there is a hex head bolt, not particularly big, but you screw that either in or out if i remember. its all in the online engine manual that is somewhere.

quick search on sor and it still appears to be here!

at least i hope thats it. If you dont allready have a copy its really very handy. But the site appears to be geocities which may have bandwidth limits, so you might not be able to get it all at once.

thanks. i thought it had a vacum adjuster too, just from following hoses coming from the throttle body
