diesel cruisers

Does anyone know if the U.S. allows people to import diesel Land Cruisers? When I was hunting in South Africa last summer my P.H. had a great diesel cruiser truck! It sure would be great to get one over here. Maybe with left hand steering? Does anyone know the answer to this question? Thanks in advance.
