This is sick. Jealous.

Looks like a big black ball.

As a guy who has only owned black cars, this has no contrast to it. It’s just a... black ball, I mean I can’t describe it any other way.

Police: “sir, did you see the get away car the robbers got into?”

Witness: “yes officer, it was a... ball. Like... a BIG black ball.”

Police on his radio: “BOLO for a murdered out 200 series Land Cruiser.”

Agreed the murdured out look is played out. If one must have a murdered out car, this one is pretty dang cool by most measures. Imagine it barreling down the highway in your rear view. I'd move out of the way, lest I get steamrolled by the ganster owner.

Not me. I would choose the 5.7 every time.

^Agreed. Even for my towing. 5.7L thank you.

Now if I could just get that subtank installed.

Yep. 105kmh is just 65mph...and it took about 10.5 seconds. Stock 5.7 200 crushes that.

It is my understanding that this vehicle is actually offered by Toyota as a “Land Cruiser Extreme”. It comes in various colors other than black, and in diesel, 4.6 L V8 or 5.7L V8.

They all have black trim but offered in different colors. A white one would look good.

I personally never understood the attraction of the "murdered black out look." It's like someone took a can of black paint and doused the entire vehicle with it. The black rims make the wheels look like incomplete, like something is missing. And then one has to pay extra for this "enhancement."

Too each their own I guess.

Interesting. One of the models has Fox aftermarket suspension, and all of these LC series have 36.5 gallon fuel capacity.

Basically dealer/port installed upgrades for that local market.

I personally thought my blacked out 2009 LX looked good. I got about 10x the amount of compliments that I do on my 2016 grey and chrome LC, FWIW. It’s definitely different.

@dnh1 - I like your LX. Clean and simple.
