Did You Know... Power Lock System

After owning the 80 for over 4yrs???
I just found a feature that I didn't know about.
When you lock the power lock and shut the door, the power locks will not unlock the doors.
The lock part of the power lock still works but the unlock was disabled.
This makes me feel better about leaving the window cracked or sunroof open knowing that someone just cant unlock the locks with a stick through the window or moonroof.

This makes me wounder what other features the 80 has that I dont know about????

Similary, when you try to lock the doors with the door open and a key in the ignition, it will immediately unlock them (seems kind of inefficient- not sure why it doesn't just disable the lock in the first place). I guess this is so you can't lock yourself out with the keys in the vehicle.

If you use the key to unlock your doors, turn it twice and it unlocks all of them...or it should, seeing as that is how it works on my T4R.
