I called the distribution center to double check, but the lady did not seem to confident so I wanted to check again with you all. I've got and 83 60, and the manual says 1984 Land Cruiser (Heavy Duty) on the cover. On the first page it says
Applicable Models:
FJ 62, 70, 73, 75
BJ 60, 70,73, 75
HJ 60, 75

She said the manual for the 83 is the same pub. number as the one I recieved.
Is she right?

I have publication number 36262E. The cover says:

FJ6_, 7_ series
BJ6_, 7_ series Oct., 1984
HJ6_, 7_ seres

On the inside front cover under "applicable models", it has the information you quote above. This manual seems appropriate for my 1985 FJ-60. I'm not really sure all the differences between the various FJ-60 model years. This manual, for example is applicable for the FJ-60 with the 4speed transmission with the spacer on it to make it the same length as the 5speed. Hence the front propeller shaft is longer and does not have the double u-joint end, that I think yours does. I don't know if there are other significant differences.

I found this website where you can look up manuals. Starting in 1981, it lists the 36262E as the manual for the Land Cruiser. For 1980, it lists the manuals below. Spector has a manual that is says is for the 1980-1983 FJ-60 and FJ0-40, and I think this is a different manual than the one I have.

Thanks for the info. That is the same pub. number I have. Guess I'll go with that manual.

I have two chassie and body FSM and they have same pub no. 36262E
One is for year 84, the other is for 84-90
They are not for FJ60 but FJ62 but applied to FJ60 also, I think.

Oh, Min Seok

That's what I have - the main manual, the 2F engine manual, and the supplements. Works for me.
