Dickey Bell Trail

The Uwharrie National Forest is pleased to announce that the construction/maintenance project for Dickey Bell Trail has been completed ahead of schedule.
The Dickey Bell Trail, Dutch John Trailhead, and the south end of the Rocky Mount Loop have all been reopened.
Enjoy the trails and remember Tread Lightly!

I drove the trail on Monday and "the hill" is just as it was before closure.

It was thoughtful for the USFS to put a 6th gen Bronco badge of honor trail next to it.
