I wonder also. I bought it certified used. Has a powertrain warranty until 100k. Warranty guys off today. Dealer said it would be $1,100 out of pocket if they deny the claim.

Hoping that warranty covers it for you. Curious what they will say about the lift and if they will try and deny it for that reason.

when I had an independent Toyota shop do my CV repair, decided to do both so I’d have a spare, the cost was around $1400 for both. This was with OEM parts and California labor rates. I’d get a second quote if the warranty is not honored.

I was surprised the service advisor didn’t mention the lift when he called. Fingers crossed they make it easy.

They are covering it under warranty. They never mentioned the lift.
