Hey guys, been doing a ton of research but still need advise...
I do a lot of my own work and the biggest air draw tools I use are my 1/2" impact, and a 3/8" cut-off/grinder... In a pinch, a few years ago I bought a cheapo from Sears and wait bout 10 minutes for 10 minutes of use with the impact. The little grinder uses even more, 3 minutes then wait 10.... My current usage is very occasional... In six months I retire and the " occasional " use will be stepped up a bit ... Will this Dewalt with 5.4 CFM @ 90lbs be enough??? Thanks for all personal experiences,,

The air volume of that dewalt is on the low end for running a grinder. I'd step up to at least a 60 gallon and be done with it. The price might be a couple hundred more, but a lot more reserve. Or if you can step up to a two-stage you won't have to worry about down time. There are some buyer guides out there that show what psi and volume is best for running different tools.

Get a 60Gal, wire it up to 220v and call it a day. I bought a Puma 60gal from Northern Tool for a little over $500 and have been thoroughly pleased.

went to battery op impacts no need for a compressor except to paint or the air chisel no more 200.00 dollar electric bills

Hang on, you're saying that you electricity bills were affected by your air compressor? Damn.
