Looking for opinions from all different angles. In the near future i may be looking for a good daily driver, something fun, sporty, and gets good MPG.

Besides limited space, can i get some reason not to look for a nice unmolested 2nd gen mr2 turbo. These things can reach 300hp with reasonable mods, mid-engine, RWD, toyota quality, and still maintain 20mpg city and almost 30mpg highway.

Theres a very clean '91 locally for sale with new turbo's and 145k miles, $8500.

Hash it out...

Great little cars. Once you drive a mid engine car like that you will never want a front wheel drive front engine car again. It will ruin you!

I was once where you are now.

IIRC, The rear setup has a single joint on the rear or some type of linkage problem that when ever its under hard breaking the rear tires toe in or out.........IIRC!
Handling of NSX vs. MR2

"In contrast, the NSX is set up to understeer slightly at the limit. Where the MR2's suspension causes the rear wheels to toe out on deceleration, producing that fast rotation, the NSX's rear toe is essentially constant, within 0.5 degrees."
They have snap steer, if you loose it any one short of this guy or Michael Shumaker would be lucky to get it back. Too the line good, but tax it over the limit, and it'll bite you. That term is called "forgiving".

WB too short weight dist is ok but SWB and Mid with rear in/out problems..= I'd get a Supra

I currently have an NSX but have always been a fan of the MR2, all three generations. I say go for it if you can find a clean one. I have been tempted to pick up a 3rd generation as a daily driver and add some forced induction to it. It would be an budget Lotus Elise. Unfortunately, there are few affordable mid-engine cars to choose from.

How about a NSFW on that video! (Idiotic language...)
