OK, so I picked up a Throttle body from a TBI chevy motor a few days ago, and I have rebuilt the unit.

I have NO idea what it came off of. There was a large pile of TBI units sitting in a pile at the wrecking lot. I just grabbed the one that looked the best (and honestly, it wasn't a very good unit).

I have no idea if it came from a 4.3, a 5.3 or a 5.7 liter enigne. I am pretty sure it came from one of those (and is not a big block TBI). When I pullled the Injectors out, the filter on teh bottom was a rust color. The electrical leads are red.

How do I determine what size injector I have?

Thanks!

I could be wrong but I believe that the 4.3, 5.0. and 5.7 all share the same injectors. Only the big block is differant.

It won't link directly but go to parts and accessories/tbi parts and they show them all at 500 cfm.

GM TBI Injectors are color coded. What the coding convention is, I cannot remember, but they are different for each displacement motor.

I can look tonight but you might find the info via a google search.

Only been reading some on TBI, no real experience. Take a look here:
