Last pic,It is more acurate to do the marking with the rotor out of the way.
Well, as I took this pic, I ran out of film.
So after a little grinding on the bracket to get the needed clearance for the rear brake pad, the rest is normal proceedure of installing pads , finishing the other side, and installing everything into the diff.
You can also see these pics on full screen ( much clearer) on the following link.

Thanks for looking in and enjoy the rest of your day.

Today I was installing all these disc brake stuff into the rear axles that are going into the truck. Easy to stick the housing into the truck without the third member.
I wanted to change the rear wheel bearings and the rear axle seals. I had to use a puller.
With the third member being out of the housings, It was easy to use a long 3/4" threaded steel rod with 2 nuts, a piece of steel pipe, socket for 3/4" drive, and a big washer to get the bearings and seals out. Just as in the drawing. It workd very nicely and fast too. So if you have very limited resources like me , maybe this is something to consider when you want to change those bearings and don't have the proper puller.

First of all, good work and sweet idea, I'm sure I will put some if not all of it to use at some point, I will try to add my own when it comes to making new parts. Also, are all these diagrams to-scale, or at least the plate ones? Where in Canada are you located?
Cheers,
Lewis

I live Newbrunswick, A lot of times, it is hard to even find stuff to buy , so I always end up doing things that are more home made.
As I said before, I would like to see other ideas and designs.
Most of the stuff I posted here are easy to measure and can be made to different scales. The Disc brake stuff is very accurate and there is not much room for tolerence.
This winter I am planning to rebuild a front disc brake axe, swaping diesel (3b ) with 5speed. That is If I have the time. I am working on different ideas now, if people have anything that can help me with that , please post them with my advanced appreciation.
Thanks.
