I took my 92 Previa their 3 years ago for a leaky valve cover gasket. Also had them adjust the valves and change the plugs as longs as they had the right front seat out (which is necessary in order to get to the top end of the engine in a Previa). It was a bit pricey, but I was satisfied with the service.

I've heard good things from people I work with about Japanese Unlimited on 22nd St here in Tucson, but have not used them yet.

Desert Toyota gave me the best estimate and were the `coolest' on the phone for a 1FZ-FE head gasket change and would allow me to bring in my own parts (can you say cruiserdan?) But I'm in PHX, so definetely need them to be good.

I'll try the place you just listed.

Could you share what range of estimate you have received on HG replacement with you providing the parts.

Desert Toyota was the only one who would let me provide my own parts (even though they're TOYOTA parts) Scott Toyota was $2.5k, Right Toyota was $1.5k. Each of those included parts. Desert Toyota quoted $750 without parts. I got all parts for ~$250.
