any news on this ??? i got an email one week ago saying that container had arrived and that lights would ship asap.. 7 days later they write me today saying that they are waiting for them to arrive.. i have opened a paypal dispute and have until september 13 to escalate.

I just got this message from Ken. he then proceeded to call me and state that he was going to refund me and that I should pay again in order to get the paypal protection and that he cannot ship with a dispute open because after 7 days of not shipping paypal will automatically award the dispute to the buyer.
I did tell him that if these lights do not ship that we as forum members would make sure that he never sells another landcruiser light and he was understanding stating that he has had troubles with customs etc.. etc... i dont know what you guys want to do but I am on the fence regarding these lights and company... it seems that the customs issue could be real but these days who knows?

We have the headlights arriving any time and we will express the full set to you as soon as they arrive. We cannot ship with a dispute open.

Do I understand then that the container has cleared customs and you are awaiting its arrival at your facility? Should I expect the headlights and corner lights to be shipped to me by the end of this week / Monday at the latest. I am not trying to push, and I understand that international shipping can be a challenge, I just need a firm time frame

yes that is correct. We should have the container within the next couple days and we will ship the minute it arrives. Could be today.
I personally still have a few days before i get to the 45 PayPal lets someone dispute a transaction, so I will give a little more time, that said I certainly wouldn't hold it against someone who was tired of this $#!T. I'm a professional and patience is something I have to practice daily, i also believe in transparency. If "Ken" is simply an importer and does not stock the items he sells why not simply be up front and honest about it, I think most of us would understand that as purveyors for these lights are limited. Why he wouldn't simply state "I can easily get a lot of stuff for newer more popular cars but the FJ80 is tough to get stuff for and it takes time"? I could respect that, and believe me while I can be patient I can also be a bastard, if any of us gets the shaft on this one I'd be behind you 100% on the statement you made.
I did post another EBay link this morning to someone who had 15 sets of the Depo lights listed today, make that 14 now including the set I ordered. Hopefully I end up with 2 sets, one for the truck and one to retro or help out another member in 6 months when these things dry up again.

Update time::::
apart from the depo headlights. i had also ordered a set of red/clear LED tail lights from import vision evolution whatever the hell they are called.
i received the lights today only to notice that they are not LED.. they are the regular incandescent bulb version.. WTF... now im really pissed.

I just received another email from "Ken" at Import Evo Vision Auto whatever, he says they will get their shipment today and my lights will be expressed out tomorrow. He did offer me a set of the clear bumper lenses for my trouble. One more thing of note, his grammar has improved and this last email actually did sound genuine, maybe it's just Stockholm Syndrome though. On a brighter note, the other EBay seller did come through and I got a set of Depo headlights delivered from UPS today.
Told me mine were shipping today and they were refunding my shipping costs for the wait.

Just speaking from experience with containers. It's hard, they have no control over customs and sometimes it can take 20+ days to clear a container. I've been there myself, thinking any day now.. and still have waited. It's rough and out of their hands.
