Hi GTS,
l disagree with john,if u have the pump out, change all the seals,if one seal is leaking, the others will leak soon.
do u have the picture of how to change the distributive head seal without removing the head,im interested in that one,i'm guessing stretching the o ring over the head.
'its hard to change the head o ring,a lot of things can fall out of place when taking the head of,and after the head is put back,u have to turn the main shaft to make sure it will turn.
Looks like my Injection Pump is beginning to seep a bit on my LJ78. Odo is at 180,000kms, but I suspect it was rolled back before import to Canada. Truck runs perfect still, but want to be preventative with this. I think it's time for a seal kit. Got a couple questions before I pull the IP off and get started.
Would this seal kit work ok?
I'm under the impression that usually replacing all the seals is enough, and the mechanical components are usually still within tolerance. Is this what others have found also?

Would this seal kit work ok? (Link removed because I'm a noob)

I'm late to the thread but think I may need to replace the seals on my injection pump as well. The link no longer works, what type of seal kit was it? and how did it go?
