Anyone else? Found these on one of the windshield frames. The cut looks factory, they're much neater than the second pic makes them look. No extra holes in the frame.............no idea how they used them.

Well, mystery solved. Definately homemade. Here's the defroster "duct" screwed to the vacuum wiper hole. They must have blocked the inside vent when they wanted to defrost.

Just got to love some of PO mods. No defrost mods here in AZ. Of course both the 65 FJ45 I've bought over the years didn't even have the optional heater. Funny Toyota made the defrost vents standard by the 63 model but didn't have a true land Cruiser heater until 64/65? Then it became a standard in the US in 1968.
