Soooo..... I think this weekend is a good plan.

Who's in?

That works for me. We have a pretty full day at work tomorrow so I'm not sure how early I will be off but I'll let you guys know when I have a better idea.

Matt/Ash have plans tonight so will be going tomorrow.

Anybody else going tonight? I'm on the fence. If enough want to show tonight, I'll roll. If nobody Don't really feel like camping solo this evening.

Call me crazy but I don't know where Deer Creek is.....
I'm thinking should be able to come out Saturday with my son.

199 to coast, after selma look for the 8 dollar mountain turn off, follow it, will turn to dirt, BEFORE the bridge turn up hill onto fire road, follow around to the backside of the mountain, follow all the way to the end. buzz me if needed 503-209-1650.

The green is the green bridge, if you wen that far you missed the turn up and around, if that makes sense.

It dead end's basically at end before you would/could cross deer ck in water. we will 2-3 spot before the end, larger opening. If not then little further down. Depends on who all is out there (not our group)

Don't take the second dirt road right before the green bridge- I wheeled it in my Tercel- WooHOO!

How late will you guys be there tomorrow? (Sunday?)

Afternoon sometime.

bootiful! We explored the creek last time and found some really cold spring water- I was surprised how green it was there.. Really cool rock formations too. I'm not sure we'll have time to make it out. It looks like the smoke is going north from the fire near Onion Mountain. Enjoy!

We started Saturday going down the Applegate, over to Williams then over the hill and down and out the upper Deer Creek area to the Rays in Selma. Then up to Kerby so my wife could get her birthday present from Hampton's Rock Shop. From there headed straight across the river and up the dirt road to Tennessee Pass and all the way down Josephine Creek to the green bridge there on the Illinois. Crossed over and made a brief stop to say hi :moon:and then made our way home. Long day. Lots of mining activity along Josephine Creek but some really pretty areas to camp. I'll be back when I get a chance, and we get some rain.:)

I did like our non-free-range shade. I think next I will add more to the community.

Who the hell let him have a knife???!!! Do we all need to go over the rules again when we let him out to play?
