Who is going to cook these things? Not it

 Excellent. I'm trying to remember the first Logan's run, which you were at, but I can't. Too much monster + vodka methinks.

Dude...How much Apple pie are you bringing? I'm going to bring a couple quarts to try to even the load out.

More than last time. I'm gonna start with 3 gallons of cider + juice instead of 2.

I'm gonna bring this stuff in gallon jugs instead of jars this time though, the damn jars are getting expensive!!!

I can go through a bushel of oysters by myself.

I have been so busy at work that this event snuck up on me. I was planning on going but didn't realize that December is next weekend. I just purchased a bunch of wood to build a media center and that has priority (must be finished by Christmas). I won't be able to make it Friday night but should be able to convince the wife for some fun on Saturday.

BTW, where is Monk's barn?

Not sure where you are coming from but from the Outpost head south on 109. Bear right on River road (Boondocks Grill on right). Go roughly 7 miles depending on how big your tires are. ;) Once you pass Fairfield Rd on the right, the entrance to the barn is on the left. There is usually an ONSC sign or colored flags. I generally don't have signal at the barn but someone on a carrier other than AT&T might be able to give you their phone #.

East side of River road, right about here: 35.338164,-80.053867

He'll likely have some flags out front. It's a gravel driveway with a cattle gate in front ( I think that's what they call them ).

I believe that's pretty close, you'll see a big metal gate at the entrance. Kenny, put some more flags out for everyone! Even if you're looking for it, you can still drive past it!

Lumbee you are too far down River Rd! It is just past 1110 River Rd, I think, on the right, just past that house. I will put the car lot streamers out too! Dam I hate computers..:bang:

I will bring oysters just need a head count of who will eat them. I dont want to get a bushel and have 3 people eating them.
Johnny good job insulting the oldman. He sure is getting crotchedy at his old age. I like the 4 seasons monk barn it has a bathroom so im good with that.

I still have to get dirty Santa gifts..... Hmmmm

Everyone that wants to participate brings an anonymous gift and puts it in the pile. Gifts can either be funny or serious. Minimum $10

peoples names that are participating are then drawn out of a hat and that person gets to pick a gift. Now when your name is drawn (as long as you aren't the first person) you can steal someone else gift that they have already drawn. A gift can only be stolen twice after that it stays with the 3rd person to obtain it.

That kind of thing has many different names.... I called it white elephants when I was growing up.... Brian called it dirty santa and it stuck the first year we did it.

I know that Brian and Jerry are still treasuring my last two gifts :hillbilly:
