Death Wobble at 35mph....

I need a little help here... I have an 89 FJ62 which I just got BFG A/T TA put on (265/75/16).... (Everything else is stock) At 35 mph, I get a violent wobble like the front end is going to come out from under it... I had changed out all the tie rod ends 1000 miles ago and they all still look good... What else could it be? Knuckles, front axle, etc? Let me know what you guys have experienced (and how to check for it) and what you ended up doing (oh, and how much it cost ya...

Check your top and bottom knuckle stud nuts.

I believe they should be torqued to 70 - 80 ft lbs.



Also double check your lug nuts.

Anybody touced the brakes recently?

Other common causes:
Worn front spring bushings.
Loose front u-bolts
extended front shackles.

Mine was the worn spring bushings, easy repair.

did you have the wobble before you change the tires ???
if not chk alignment.......
