We did Telescope Peak this past Tuesday and at the top it was 55 degree F at noon. It's been really dry out there this past year. I know it's always dry, but this past winter and summer have been below normal moisture levels.
Also swing by Ballarat and get a trail report from Rocky regarding the canyon trails on the Panamint side. The sodas are $2 but the stories, especially if his dad George is around are priceless.
