I have a 2007 Toyota Land Cruiser with approximately 100,000 miles on it.
This past week and I was driving to Los Angeles for approximately 3 hours in 75° weather. When I got into stop and go traffic I notice the car starting to run rough. About 10 minutes later I was accelerating after coming to a complete stop and the vehicle would not go over 5 miles an hour and then it finally stalled and would not start again. I got it started 30 min later but it sounded and felt horrible so I turned it off immediately.
I had the car towed to my local Toyota dealership and 24 hours later the car starts and runs fine. They are not able to reproduce the problem. There was no smell or liquid spilling from the engine compartment. I was able to pull codes and P0300, P0302, P0304, P0306, P0308, P0171, P0174.
The only problems I have had recently is a subtle hesitation when taking off from stops and little hesitation when driving on a freeway. Maybe a vacuum leak?
Any suggestions?
Thank you all in advance.
