So I have had my Taco for about 4 years.I love everything about it but would like a little more height than the spacer and add a leaf it has now.I found this lightly used Camburg 2 1/2" adjustable coilover w/ 3" rear springs and bilsteins on the cheap and bought it.Just wondering if others are using this setup and some opinions good or bad.Anything you would add that improve the runnings. Thanks,Matt:)

Camburgs are top of the line coilovers. You will love them. Bilsteins are tried and true cant really go wrong with them.
For more Tacoma specific check out Tacomaworld or ttora.

Agreed - the Camburg's are sweet. Is that a 3 leaf AAL for the rear?

Yes the rear is a 3"-3 leaf pack(AAL)Hope to get this installed over the weekend. Thanks for the info.:)

Only issue I have heard about with coil-over style lifts on these trucks is they often vibrate once the lift is installed. Apparently the output bearing on one side of the diff is a poor design and doesn't like the higher CV angle. I have the same truck but I'm leaving mine stock.

I think that's only if you crank the co's up to high. I know my lifted Tacoma rides much, much better than my dads stock tacoma.

I think the only potential negative you'll find is that if the Camburgs use heim style, non-isolated mounting points as most of the top end racing style setups do, the road noise from the front end is much louder than the Fabtech or Bilstein style that use the factory strut tops that isolate most of that.

I just recently helped a friend install a set of Sway-aways and another friend install a set of the basic Fabtech units and although I know the SAWs are very trick, I wouldn't put a set of them on a DD. To be more precise, I wouldn't bother putting them on a truck that I wasn't going to do a full front end on (control arms with uniballs, spindles, etc). He got them for a great price so I couldn't blame for doing it but God, the noise! :) hope this helps!

Thanks all.I am having a tough time swapping this suspension for the nice ride it has now.I may just sell the kit and recoop some $.Thanks again for the responses.:)

I just went from a similar setup to a full OME suspension. I cannot believe the difference! My front coilovers(highly overrated) cost me what the whole OME went for. I have a better ride and even more clearance. I highly recommend Cruiser Outfitters regarding OME products.

Not really sure what noise you are referring to. I had a set of saws on my 3rd gen 4runner and am currently running a set on my dcab tacoma and I love them. No complaints here. I will say this though If I had to buy everything new I would go with OME. Very hard to beat old man emu for the price but I just found these at a decent deal.

Well its been awhile.Picked up an ARB bumper for the Taco, which means heavy coils were needed. No problem just vistited Cruiser Outfitters for all my Toyota needs.Kurt hooked me up with some OME heavies for the front.Kurt also ordered up some updated ARB fog housings.Marked, cut:)
