Hi everyone, I'm looking to put together a meet 'n greet/wrenching party sometime between thanksgiving and new years. Thinking the second weekend in December would be good. It's kind of bold of me to propose this, since I'm not a permanent resident of the area and don't have any facilities to provide to host the event. However, I will be around the area for many years to come and would like to meet all the local cruiserheads.
I originally wanted to put this together so that I could get my knuckles/birfs done on the 80, but I have setup to use the local shop(with lift
) back home(virginia beach) over the thanksgiving weekend. I'm in the process of several projects, so I'm sure there's something to be worked on if this comes together.
What do you guys think? What would be a good meeting place. Is there a precedent for this(I know there is a local land cruiser club, but I've been told they're more focused on 40's). Give me your ideas, your criticisms, whatever.
Thanks, and I look forward to meeting you all!
Ary
P.S. I know that everyone is busy around the holidays, but I thought I'd see if everyone could sneak away for a saturday
