was not aware!..hmmm lets see what we can come up with! where there is a will there is a way!

@NetJunky I just got off the phone with Donald at DC fab about 3 hours ago, I was asking for an ETA so I can arrange a pick up date. Anyhow, it is true that I'm not picking it up anymore, but I have already arranged someone to bring it down for us, he's charging $600 for time and gas. His rate is reasonable to me as $500 was the cost of fuel and rentals not including food and motel for myself and a friend, which I wasn't going to charge. In addition to the reasonable rate, I don't have to burn two days on the road and encounter other contingencies. I have informed @Solid Taco and @jtwopark regarding the cost, they are happy to split the bill 4 ways, we still save $100 each on shipping. Let me know your thoughts :)

$125 isn't bad for the shipping. I expected that in the beginning. If we can get more people involved we can drive that shipping cost down a bit.

Starski Said it won't work out for him other wise it would have been a little cheaper haha. Pick up location is Westminster in Orange County. I will likely install mine the same day, if you can't make it, I can ask someone to bring it up to you or Santa Clarita and you can get it there.

I'm sorry I made a typo earlier, he's charging $600 so $150 per bumper, $500 was the cost I calculated for fuel and rental.
I met Solid Taco on Saturday for Scepter fuel cans, I told him it was $150 per person, you can confirm with him if you wish.

Yeah. X2. I'm interested too but need to know how much shipping to the East Coast will cost.

don't waste your time, just get slee or arb rear bumpers!

DC Fabrication is still making rear bumpers but the group buy ended a very long time ago. When we sat down in 2011 and designed the first rear bumper it was to fill my particular need and we didn't envision this becoming a production item. I wanted a bumper with good lines, protection, and flat wings that tie back to the frame to keep the wide rear end from getting hung up on rocks. Due to the positive reception the bumper received the shop decided to begin small scale production of the product.

The rear bumper has gone through some redesigns and is now in full production. I've logged about 500 miles of trails with new design bumper on and have been very pleased with the results. No rattles, shakes, squeaks, rubbing, or any failures to speak of. Mine is not powder coated because I have a tendency to weld and add crap on...
