Hey Everyone, I have a question about DTRL. I am importing this car from the Netherlands and in order to pass inspection here in Canada, I need to have DTRL.

Would anyone have done this modification apparently it's very simple but all I can find is how to remove them....

Any constructive help is appreciated.

Best

Thanks, I didn't know they sell kits for DTRL. I know for a fact we can wire it, with an additional fuse but I was wondering if someone had this done previously

What headlights do you have? (Photo)
YES please see attached

I actually "Googled" a 2001 Troop Carrier and realized my suggestion wasn't going to work. With the later headlights you can replace the OEM parking light bulbs with LED and they are bright enough to serve as daytime running lights.

Thanks once I received the truck I will work on it !
Premise #1. I don't know squat about Canadian law.
Another, perhaps more expensive, option is something like these Aurora driving lights that have daytime running lights incorporated into the outer rim.

They would need to be a direct replacement of the OEM light and that would work for my inspection would you have by any chance the model of these?

There may be replacement headlights on the market that have daytime driving light features but the Aurora's are strictly aux driving lights.
