Dash lights & Shifter panel lights no workie

Hi all just replaced my speedo cable. My problem is with the dash lights and my gear indicator lights at the shift lever don't work now. The gear indicator lights on the dash between the tach and speedo work o.k. but no speedo or tach lights and no lights at the gear indicator at the shifter lever. Would this be a fuse/elecrtrical problem or did I knock somthing loose in the dash when I installed the speedo?

Cliff -

All of the lamps you mention are controlled by a single fuse... the 10A "Gauge" fuse (DS lower dash fuse panel). Try that first - may be as simple as a blown fuse.

Thanks for the tip Ron, forgot that the fuse panel door had the fuse designation on it. Fuse was good so I started to take the dash apart again, got to the middle trim panel and found that I did not fully reconnect the rheostat (dash dimmer dial) plug, problem solved.
