Finally my gas, spedo, odo, trips, and tach gauges have stopped working altogether. Any suggestions on where I should take it?
lexus / toyo / independant / myself???

history:
periodically
odo would flash all 8's, trip meters ok
odo and trips go blank
odo and trips return to normal
varied conditions summer hot winter cold
odo and trips seem to keep counting in the failed state

then... on a cold cold day all the guages above failed and returned to normal the next day

months later same events above, however the guages are not working for a week continuously... I'm kind of happy, as intermittent is more disturbing and can be trouble shot

make sure both large multi-pin connectors on the back of the cluster are properly secured. There's one large screw per side that threads into the connectors to keep them in place. Start by checking those.

Pull the combination meter and check the connectors on the rear for moisture/corrosion, put back and do the connectors up securely with the big bolts.

turned out to be a damaged circuit board that drives the various components on the cluster
