Hello All,
Does anybody know what happened to Danny Warden or who machined the Tcase for him?. He had a nice billet tcase. If we could track down the .igs or .stp file, I will model it up in Pro E, then create a .NC file in Mastercam, and create a Print. We can post it for all the gear heads to read and have another option for placing a different TCase in their rig? All you have to do is find some material, and a shop with a CNC.
And/Or does anyone have actual data or a point cloud of a FJ t case that I can reverse engineer from?

What you ask would be more expensive for the one off guy than an Orion..

danny closed up shop here in town, i think he was getting tired of all of the "slow pay's" and sick of it in general. i have tried to get ahold of him several times but without success. the best thing to do would be to get ahold of his brother who runs a repair shop in Diamond Springs, ca and try to get ahold of him that way, and let us know. i would be interested also.

His brothers shop is Steve Warden Auto Repair in Placerville, but he probably doesn't have his brothers contact info. Danny lives right down the street from me and he still has a nice parts cache mostly 60 stuff, I just saw a really nice 40 he just finished for a local pizza shop owner. I sometimes see his wife and will try to ask for you.

Danny is quite well and alive. He closed his shop to take a 40hr a week regular job. He is still in the area, roughly, and does some custom work for a few friends.

I have a warden case in a truck that is not on the road right now. I would like to see it in Pro/e so I could make a couple more units for myself and other friends. I have the cnc's to do this just no time.

The total solution is to have the crawler gears with it. The warden setup was the peanut butter and the marlin gears were the jelly. When I had the warden case in a prior 40 I was a starving college punk. I wanted the gears super bad but never bought them. Now marlin wont sell the gears. I tried about a 2 years ago to get a set or buy some prints to no avail.

The gears to me are equally important to the system. For this reason a orion is a fair deal.

never mind, i talked to jefff at hangtown extreeme who was wardens head guy, and he said they had too many problems with those cases losing the thrust washers. "don't bother" is how he put it.
