some idiots pulled a couple of fence posts down at metberry gulch and made a bunch of ruts down by and though the river. i am going to go down there sunday the 9th to re-set the fence posts before it gets worse. anyone interested in helping? i have some post hole diggers and will pick up a couple bags of sacrete. i don't have a sledgehammer to break the old concrete off the posts or a garden rake to maybe fix the bad ruts down in the mud. any help would be appreciated. luke 719-306-3519. probably go down about 10 am ish.

I have some repairs of my own to work on or I would go with you. I busted a birfield on Chinaman's today and I have the dual transfer case ready to install so I will be down for a couple of weeks.

lol, what were you telling me about never having any trouble with factory birfs? ha ha! thats why "in chromoly" I trust! I saw the post for the chinaman's trip saturday morning at 10:30, bummer! i really would like to have gone on that, oh well, maybe next year. by the way, if there is anything I can do to help with the dual transfer case install, give me a ring. I've got tons of fab tools. I'm even qualified to stand around and hold a beer while you work!

Damn - stupid assholes trying to get stuff closed. If it still needs work, I may be able to go down next Sun.

It looks much better now, I re-concreted two poles and got the cables as tight as i could. also walked down by the river and kicked in the sides of the ruts so they dodn't look as bad. I figure the snow will come soon and prevent anyone from getting down there the rest of the year, and the melt off will most likely take care of the ruts. but yeah, i was very disappointed that someone would do something like that myself, I mean really, you have to wonder if after they had their fifteen minutes of fun they looked back at the damage they caused and felt any remorse at all? most likely not. oh well, stupid is as stupid does.

Good job!!!!!! It is absolutely amazing that in todays world folks still believe it's "their right" to use trails and do what ever they feel is fun! Thank you very much for your efforts and selfless use of your time and materials! You are very appreciated!:cool:
