Hey Guys,

Might me a stupid question .... but .... few weeks ago picked myself up an ARB bumper for my 60 for a giveaway price.
Went to put some D Shackles on it and realized the holes are not in the same place as other bumpers ive seen.
Perhaps I have a newer style or old style hell I dont know!!
How do I attach a couple of these to this bumper?

Last pic was taken for comparison from Trapper50cal - hope you dont mind (love that rig!!)

Will the shackles not mount to the holes in the lower corner square openings? If you mount the shackle up and down on its side, with the pin coming in from the top? What else could those openings be for?

Yeah Id already considered doing that, but quite frankly I personally prefer them hanging down like in the last pic.
Guess this must be the 'new style' ARB. :hhmm:

If you are looking for cosmetics, that's one thing. IFAIC, there are no load-capable points on the ARB (not the old style anyway, never seen a new one) For function, I would look to run something attached direct to the frame, and not leave shackle out for fast hands to steal :meh: I tweaked my old style ARB around the "hook mounting" bolt holes with a few lightish pulls, now I have put factory hooks back onto the frame so I have something solid to attach to.

purty. do like the light tabs and only one bar. I'd rock my Hi-Lift on upper tabs...

linky was much helpful for visualizing, thanks.
