My wife's 100 suddenly started running rough at a redlight. After an hour or so of changing plugs I realized (through mud) that it was a coil issue. RHT had one in stock and it fixed the problem immediately. Has anyone else had this problem with a 100series? I'm wondering if this problem will continue over time as each cylinder has its' own coil and they are $68 w/ club discount! BTW, it has 148K on the odometer and this is the FIRST problem we've ever had w/ it, knock-on-wood.

it seams to happen to a lot of trucks ,mine went on 167 000 now I keep one in the truck

Yeah, I just traded in my jeep cherokee, but I had to replace the coil rail. I had 150000 on it before I had to do it. I figure it was a normal maintenance issue since I've had to replace the old school coil on both my 40 and 60. So I wouldn't neccessarily call it a problem just maintenance.
