cv boot maintenance or grease check? (1 Viewer)

Hello had a nail in one of my tires and noticed some grease spray from the cv boots; does not seem to have any rips. Is there any way of checking that the grease inside is enough? the spray may have been there awhile had the vgrs fixed a short time ago.

You can sort of get a feel for how much grease is in the boot by "messaging" it with two hands and comparing that side to your good side. I had some leakeage on one of mine and used a plastic syringe to fill mine back up. You can check it out here (and no, you don't have to buy anything).
