I was driving into the office and spotted this wild looking 100 series cruiser. Happened to have my camera so I snapped a few pics. It had some rather crude home fabbed bumpers that I didn't care for but check out this snorkel

I can't believe bootyfab has hit the 100 series already.

Kinda looks like a Mantec snorkel for a Rover, but then again it kinda looks like s***.

Any pictures of the bumpers?

Believe me, you don't want to see them.... As for the snorkel, I really like the interface at the fender - I think the safari looks very crude where it mounts to the fender. I can do without the flying wing top on this one. I would like this with a regular intake at the top. If you really really want it, I'll post the shot with the diamond plate front bumper :puke:

The connection to the quarter panel actually looks pretty good. Not so much where the snorkel connects in the middle though.

I don't hate it.

Does it brace up against the windshield there? Bet that rattles like hell.

That's what I was thinking. It looks good at the fender, but then it looks like he spliced it with electrical tape when he connected it with the top portion.

Finishing it like this Safety Devices Rover unit would have looked much better, IMHO.

If you look carefully you'll spot the brace at the roof above the windshield. Looks like it's welded to the roof.

Ryan, that safety devices Rover pic is NICE
