Custom fj Bumper. What do you think?

I made this for a friend here in utah. Just wondering you guys think of it? I cut out the crossmember/bumper set up and took 3 inches off the frame to suck in the bumper real tight to the body. Also cut out the plastic corners and replaced them with corners made out of 1 inch square tubing and 16 guage sheet metal.

Nice improvement on the angle of departure - it'tt prevent the deposit of tupperware on rock ledges. I like the integrated hitch and steel corner protectors.

I think it would look alot better in flat or atleast matte black to suit the trim more.

Personally I would have rathered a flat finish also. The owner wanted it to match his front arb bumper. $1800 was the price.
