Don''t know about the 2L but as far as I know, Toyota didn't put an automatic in a pickup until they started in with the fuel injection.

I have an 84 2wd with 22r and automatic.I don't know the model number but I am going to pull it this week.I will see if it is numbered then if you want.

Here in the US, I know they used autos behind the 1st gen (79-83) 2WD PU's...Not sure about 4WD...I wanna say it was something like A43L tranny...???
