Cup Holder fabrication or mod for center console cup holder? (1 Viewer)

So this is my first 100, and I've had it for about a month, a '97. Overall very happy with it, and glad to be a LC owner.

I can't get over how lame the cup holders are in this truck? I don't think I've found a beverage bottle that won't tip over in it. It's a depth issue it seems, Toyota made them too shallow.

Has anyone ever fab'd something to address this? It's very minor, but annoying.

I'm not totally sure how much depth there is beneath them. But maybe you could use some of these.

I really doubt your 100 is a 1997.

That Amazon product might work depending on the diameter. The only other thing I can think of is to cut down some thin wall PVC (with O.D. just smaller than cup holder) and coat it in paint or bed liner, to make a taller holder.

Sorry, don't know why I said '97, I've never owner a '97 anything. She's an '06 and thanks for the tips guys.
