I assume you're talking about the Supra with the 7MGTE? Not the 1JZGTE/2JZGTE right? If you're talking the 7MGTE, the turbo is the CT26, and our 2LTE's have the CT20. I thought about doing some swapping parts around, and realized the CHRA between the turbos is different (parts are not interchangeable.) Also, even if there is a way to bolt the Supra CT26 to the 2LTE, it probably won't make any boost until around 4000rpm, haha. It's just made for a bigger motor with alot more air flow. That said, the guys with the HDJ81 (4.2l turbo diesel) use the compressor from the Supra CT26 to upgrade their diesel CT26. Those Supra CT26's are getting rare and desirable, so maybe worth picking them up if you can get them cheap. If they are really mint you could even resell them probably for $300 each or more.
If you are talking 1jzgte/2jzgte, the exhaust manifolds/housings are not really transferrable to any other engines. Compressors might be interchangeable from some models of the engines... However, I did read that our turbo's are way more desirable, as they are steel not ceramic, so can be pushed way harder without blowing apart. There is a lot of variation between the different supra twin turbo engine turbo configurations between different years, and different countries of destination. Some of the engines used CT20's, some used CT12's I think. Also there is a mix of ceramic/steel. I looked into this a lot too, but at the end of the day realized there would be not advantage from these turbo's being put on a 2lte.
Much better to look into modern turbo's off modern diesels. Look into the GT2052, GT2056, GT2256, etc. The technology has come a long ways since Toyota's old turbos were designed.
