Now this problem is very intermittent, usually happens when its cooler out. Its a 99 lx470 and I could be cruising at 70 and all of a sudden it feels as if the throttle cut back and the truck loses power and it continues. If i release the gas pedal and then repress it goes away but comes back. There is no cel light and the problem is random. Ive replaced the TPS but no luck. Could it be the APS? Thanks!!

I don't know if this could be the same problem I used to have where it felt like I lost power and had to press the pedal further to remain at the same speed. I narrowed my issue down to the throttle wire being too lose and not ending up in the grove on the "wheel" on the throttle body. During driving the wire would fall back into the grove and it felt like i was letting go of the gas pedal. I tightened the wire with the adjustment nut near the throttle body and it has been good ever since.

Ill check it out tomorrow. But I doubt thats the issue. It only happens on the highway at constant speeds.
