Heard, thanks for the reply. What would the differences / hurdles be? electronics, bell housing, all of the above?
Heres a thread, with some answers, although @Cruisers and Co probably has better info from wholesale.

Perfect, thanks for the link!
Dont want to hijack the thread but the FTE came with an A750 behind it. Shouldn't be difficult to put one behind a 1HD-T, but you'd need something to run the transmission, a way to get a TPS etc.

The 1HDFTE came with the A750F behind it. There is already a Toyota bellhousing that exists. The guys at WAT have put A750F's behind the 1HD platform many times before and have the electronics sorted to make the Compushift work and control the transmission just fine. Case and point in post #1 you can see the Dirty30 with a 1HD-FT and A750F. Fitting it and making it work is not the problem. Here's where it gets tricky. Our US A750's that came in the 100 and LX are different internally than the Diesel A750 so those can't be used. We are working to see if these diesel A750 transmissions can readily be acquired and supplied. The kit if we do it will also be much more DIY than PNP because, as @OGBeno mentioned, the variations are much greater with the diesel 80's and we can't standardize it as much.

A little over a month of real driving with the transmission in. Rolled over the 2500 mile mark this morning on the way to the shop. Still running amazing and can't wait to get this out there to you guys.

Offroad - it absolutely crushed it in Moab.
On road - fantastic, greatly improved response. 1st gear makes getting up and going much easier and the 5th overdrive is great for keeping RPM's down

Daily - MPG right now is sitting at around 12.6-9 mpg which is way better than my 10-11 I was getting.
Highway - super impressed but it's been above 14 and on Mother's Day weekend the family and I went on a 210-mile round trip in one day. Started and ended at the same pump. Got 15 on the dot averaging 70 mph on the highway. That was impressive to me.
I'm checking under the seat cushions of the couch to make this happen .... I would love to know how it performs behind a stock drivetrain.
