I do not care because this whole matter was more then likely due to increased tariffs. In my opinion you are not liable, especially if the order was placed prior to the current administration. s*** happens expect fees to go up, Amayama quotes traffis in their final billing.
 
Hey Scott I respect what you are saying and all but you have no idea. I am the shop that is installing the kit I am not the buyer I am the person that talked my customer into buying this kit instead of me ls swapping it. The owner bought and paid for this kit the very first of January for 16k and got the completed kit in full meaning every part that was paid for in full in July. I am not paying a dime for shipping. As far as keeping it of the forum are you saying for me to keep my mouth shut?

I will say the entire tariff stuff has royally screwed us, has made tons of headaches this year, and is incredibly confusing at times but we’re still here enjoying our land cruisers so it is what it is
 
Back to turbo stuff!
It’s almost turbo time! Oil and water lines plumed, intercooler plumed, intake plumed. Need to do the recirculating valve, vacuum hoses, catch can, heat shielding and gauges. Fill the oil and coolant and let her rip! 🤘🤙 @Cruisers and Co

Back to turbo stuff!
It’s almost turbo time! Oil and water lines plumed, intercooler plumed, intake plumed. Need to do the recirculating valve, vacuum hoses, catch can, heat shielding and gauges. Fill the oil and coolant and let her rip! 🤘🤙 @Cruisers and Co

So I have to ask as my ocd is going off,
having built from scratch a few turbo systems with intercoolers myself are you not concerned with clearances to all the things that the charge pipes are touching, brake lines, exhaust manifold, front valance, fender, rad lines (this one is bad) etc. In my experience this might last for a bit until engine vibration wears a hole in either the charge piping or the thing being rubbed up against. How do you deal with these...
The one i couldnt avoid in my current turbo system is over the oil fill cap...which it is wearing through the cap itself. I replace a sacrificial piece or rubber here every now and then but who cares its the oil cap, but hard break lines, rad lines etc arent as forgiving.

It’s a very tight fit for the charge pipes. The driver side was the tightest fit, not much real estate to work with. It does touch the brake lines but that can be massaged, the little rad hose at the top can get some extra protection, just move the extra thick piece of rubber that is already on that line, it does not hit the big rad hose. The passenger side has plenty of space, it does not hit the exhaust manifold. It’s just getting into the lower valance, going to trim that and run some rubber edge trim. It does not come close to the oil fill cap either.
For a first time turbo user, this kit was very well put together and I am very happy with how it is turning out. Definitely wouldn’t attempt to put a kit together myself. Will it need some love here and there in time, I’m sure it will but what doesn’t. 🤙😎

It’s tight, no way around it on the 80. PDI kit is the same way for the diesel trucks. Without making it cost waaaaayyyy more than it already is there’s no way to get it to not touch something under the hood. The softline on top of the rad definitely touches but still has movement available and it’s on a large curve without any sharpness so I’m sure it’s gunna be fine long term. Over 20k miles on mine without an issue and there’s quite a few kits that have been on trucks longer than mine.

I don't think you’re allowed to. Not that anyone respond anyway. I will be documenting everything on the build im doing with this kit.
Richard can say whatever he wants and so can you or anyone else on this forum. It’s fine keep the comments/jabs coming. End of the day I am still going to help you get your truck up and running with a smile on my face. No, i get it, I'm not hackin on it. Just worried for buddy and longevity on brakes and coolant as they are kinda necessary components and ive seen the wear on mine, I had some conflict on hard diesel injector lines that were being abraded at a far too advanced rate... mind you the diesel engine vibrates quite a bit more than a gaspot.
