Thought that for a second too but I don't see any chalk outline so the kid must be fine. It'll give people something to talk about.

Prolly won't get that one together till after Xmas.

Thanks!!

I have permission from the father of the child in question, and you have my permission to use the photo if you so choose.

Both the father and I (and probably Chris too, since he started the whole "what about FJ Cruisers" thing) should be good for a case each if you do ;)

Just mailed it...

I said "Of course not! Our daughters are 19 and 20 - they are way too tall." ;)

Now your talking

A better perspective still, would have been the kid playing in the running stream.... but why push the envelope :hillbilly:

Any plan to use the FJ Cruiser in an upcoming "batch"? The father of the boy (and me) are anxious to order a case ;p

can you re-send me the pic of the kid under the tire?? I'll have it ready by the end of the week!!

Just got the draft today. should be ready tomorrow or Thursday!!

FJ Cruiser wines are ready to go!!!!

Yes! The store is at 2 Juniper Street in Winchendon. It's next door to the Rite Aid in the same building as the consignment shop. Much cheaper that way!!

Sweet!! I appreciate it!!

Been away for a few days... Thanks for including us FJ Cruisers in the latest batch, John! Do I remember reading somewhere we could save shipping costs by picking up a case at your shop?

I'm offering to organize a Group Buy for a couple of the groups I wheel with. I can come to your place and pick up some caseS (I hope) and then give people their wines when I see them.

I'll come back to you once I've heard from folks -- and I'm good for a case myself.

cool. will need some notice to get it all together but a day or so should do it.

thanks!

Hi, John. Here's your first heads-up. Looks like I've gathered enough orders for at least two cases of Mountain Merlot "FJ." Maybe 2-1/2. And there's one guy in the group who likes the cause, drives an FJC, but prefers white (I've asked him to pick one).

That said, there's no rush on this end. Most of the people who are ordering are doing so for a Easter weekend trail run (and I've promised to get the wine delivered to them, there) -- so if I keep the "group buy" going a bit longer I may be able to get this up to 3 or more cases. Okay with you???

Sounds great to me!

John,

I want to apologize publicly for failing to follow through on this! :o

Things have been insane for me at work these last couple of months AND my wife convinced me to squeeze in a family vacation to visit a daughter who's studying abroad. I've been offline (except for work) since early March.

Unfortunately, that means the opp. to organize (actually, finish organizing - because sadly, I had already started organizing it) the group buy from the FJ Northeasters crew who just went to Rausch Creek has passed.

I'm embarrassed and ashamed.

I'll try to make it up to this worthy cause (and you) over the course of the various FJC-oriented events I attend this season!

And, meanwhile, once my bank acct. recovers from the aforementioned family vacation I'll PM you to order a case of my own.

Again, sorry. I'll make it up to you.

No worries. Keep it in mind and any help is greatly appreciated!
