Cruiser in Lawrence Kansas

I found this 86 on cars.com. I am seriously considering it, but don't have a chance to look at it. Being that I am in CO and the Cruiser is in Kansas I was wondering if there was anyone in the area that could look at it, or advise me of a mechanic in the area that could. It has a Chevy ZZ4 motor (with @45k miles) mated to the factory 4 speed transmission. I am not sure how that frame looks or the condition of the birfs. Any information from any of you guys would be greatly appreciated. Here's the link to the cars.com listing. . .

i am close lawrence kansas..i am not very knowledgable with this particular cruiser...you might want to post this up in the tornado alley cruisers forum...we have some very sharpe people in that group...pretty close to lawrence..i am sure someone could help...if i knew more i would go in a minute...

Looks like a nice cruiser from the pictures, but if your planning on driving that on the road in Colorado I'd check with the state emmisions folks on what they will want to get it certifed and tagged. It could be a giant pain in the a$$. Just trying to help you look at all the angles, not rain on your parade.
