FINALLY.
For those of you who don't know/remember my cruiser was hit back in November on the passenger side totaling it out. It was owned by my dad at the time and I bought it from him for the insurance salvage value. I purchased doors to replace the damaged ones way back in early December and just today got around to putting on the front one. Man what a difference it made, truck looks 10 times better.
All in all it took me about 3 hours to completely dismantle and remove the old door and then install and reassemble the new door. Amazingly enough there were no
moments and no snags to speak of. I'd never had a cruiser door off before, but I've been into a few other car doors before, so maybe that helped. Who knows. I'm just happy it's done. Now I just need to find a front fender and I'll be good to go.
Got 7.5 fresh quarts of Mobil 1 in there as well. Been a good day!
