"My" '40 is actually going to be there; we told them that I'd like to tag along with Claudia in my K5, but that I really don't want to take a spot away from a Cruiser...
If it's really a problem, I'll relinquish my spot, go to Moab anyways, and instead of driving 'Spike and Hell's etc. I'll just drive some of the less popular trails I wanted to check out for a while now, like Flat Iron Mesa south of town, and Strike Ravine close to Area BFE. I can probably talk Dirk Phillips into going out with me for one day or so...

There's another thread on this - pre-departure Saturday Morning (Apr 26?). Registration is open and I registered tonite.
I can't find the other thread, so I'm going to ask on this one.
I'm starting to finalize my plans to get down to AZ/UT and was wondering when you planning on starting your treck and where you plan on being the first night or two. Right now I am at 6 days to Bryce Canyon NP and thought I would meet up with you on the following afternoon/night.
