Cruise Moab 100 style

Sorry no pics yet. Will post in the next couple of days. Had a great time. I think there was a total of 5-6 100 there. Everybody running different trails. (wngrog, gregb, a couple of guys with the norcal group, farnam, and myself.)

I ran poison spider, moab rim, porcupine rim X2, and hells revenge. Also after porcupine rim stopped by potato salad for a clean run over the top. And it is always better when you do it with a jeep audience watching. Very cool. Weather was in the mid 80's all week.

PS only damage was the rear bumper(factory) need to get something else back there.

Kicked A$$ on both. Z turn was lf air 4 ft, thats the pic with the strap on the bumper. Potato salad wasn't a perfect walk to the top, but was over within 4-5 minutes. Adrenaline was going on PS. Ask rob he helped me to the top.

e999 - left the hitch on so it scraped pretty much everywhere but other than that I think I barely touched a slider going up.

I watched Ben do this. I think it must be the first 100 to take tater hill. The cool thing Ben left out was, Chris head FJ Cruiser Team driver beet his silver FJC on the hill for 20 min, only to rip the right rear plastic bumper cover off. Ben then goes up the hill and takes it on the same assault, cargo rack and all!

Now Balu and his daughter chose to hang out at the bottom of the hill and watch!

Ben, I was the one watiching on the sides with my young son on Moab Rim that my boy kept saying ``that's momma's cruizah''. You did a great job with your Hundy on that trail, definite props.

And as long as were calling up what was left out. Mark proceeded to go up and
back down ps. Down is way scarier than up, has a white knuckle appearance to it (very light in the back). So there was a little knife twisting going on. Also the guy who went after me was in an early 90's toyota p/u, We all thought he was going to break something first of all, under load his rear diff was almost standing straight up. Then on his last attempt of the top he almost went over, kind of stopped in middair for a few seconds, could've gone either way. He backed down after that.



I had more than a few people double taking the "mall rated" hundy this week.

Only thing I didn't attempt was the Escalator on Hell Revenge. After seeing mark's d pillar on ps after he went in the escalator I figured that one would be okay to skip. Everything else went pretty smooth. Strap only had a few people on it no vehicle on the other end. Can't wait to go next year. Meanwhile I'll have to keep "testing" in the mountains of Colorado.

It did but you just have to be more creative when you drive.
Came into play also because I could carry more stuff!!!!!

I had a 40 for 13 years and drove everything down there w/o lockers with the exception of pritchett.
