pinion shaft lock right install help

need advice/help installing locker, I have everything in -the pinion shaft will not go in. Is it possible that the spacers are to wide from Richmond? has anyone had this issue?
Thanks
Axle is 9.5 FJ62 full floater (front housing)

Not likely but you never know. I assume you have double checked to make sure the inner and outer gears have meshed together before installing the spacer/caps. I also wonder if the spacer is wedged in the side gear not letting it seat all the way in. Did you thoroughly grease the parts when you assembled?

the side gear shims may be too thick. did you check the clearances before putting it together?

The locker is in, I had to tap the pinion shaft just a little then It slid all the way. Thanks I am now waiting on my new axles and birlfields so I can hit the trails. again thanks
