Yeah, guy just posted it over on TW and thought it was funny that there was a shunt sighting over there.

Had a wee bit of a head on collision Friday morning on the way to work. Guy was coming the wrong way up a one way street with blind curves. I stood on the brakes and tried to get off the road, but didn't quite make it. You can see the marks on the tire where he hit it. The wheel was cranked hard left, and the impact with the tire straightened the wheel, catching my left index finger between the turn signal stalk and the spoke on the steering wheel (I think, thats the best I can tell what happened) and broke the middle bone at the joint. It's a small fracture that should heal up ok. It didn't feel too bad when it happened, but I got it x-rayed anyway. It started smarting pretty good a few hours later.

Yup, that was kinda what came to mind. I was going to try and go wheel it on the 24th, but with the fanger on the mend, I may wait until it's all healed up. Kinda tough to manhandle the wheel with a splint on one.
