Cray cray - Dead mouse causes timing to jump in a Toyota 4.7

That's happened to someone here, they or the mechanic forgot to put back a small cover during a timing belt service.
 
Ryan (OTRAMM) warns of this very thing in his excellent timing belt videos. I always had a hard time accepting that a small rodent would/could throw a timing belt off....but evidence is evidence.
 
Two were-feral-now-domesticated cats are in the garage at night. No issues so far. ;)
 
^^ be careful with that. If a mouse can cause the engine to skip time, I can't imagine what a cat would do.
 
That mouse went on the (last) ride of his life!
 
Mustie the Youtuber is a genius with small engines. I learn a lot watching his videos but i really thought the Toyota would stump him.
 
does anybody know the part number for that plastic triangle?
 
i checked the timing gear diagram and the radiator & water outlet diagram and couldn't find it - those were the only two diagrams that i figured would have the part in it. can you teach me your ways?
