What crawl ratio would a '96 with 4:88's and 35's would come out to be?
I'm trying to figure out these 80's?

A343F first gear = 2.804
Torque convertor multiplier (or divider) ~2
transfer case = 2.488
diff = 4.88/4.1
tire = 31/35

Multiply them out.

is stock about 60:1 or so ?

Hey thanks.
I couldn't do the math 'cause I didn't know any of the ratios.

The whole torque converter thing is not a constant. When the TQ is locked up you have to remove that (2) multiplyer. I like to use 1.5 instead of two. That way you self comprimise for when the converter is locked.

Looks like around 51 to 1

Tire size has nothing to do with low range.

first gear x ring and pinion x low tcase gear set x the torque converter.

2.804 x 4.88 x 2.488 x 1.5 = 51 to 1

Some people dont use the torque converter to figure out low range.

thank you.
